Position Summary: Support Affiliate Manager through client service process including contract management, data input and deal tracking, marketing, legal (with London office) net-ops services, billing and collection (with London and Moscow offices) and also managing mid and small size affiliates relations in the region.Responsible for managing small Distribution deals and relations in the local pay TV market and to ensure distribution for our portfolio of channels is maximised. Responsibilities:

KEY FEATURES OF ROLE:

•To implement the strategy and maximise revenues
•Builds and develops Distribution client relationships
•Proactive in the market, looks for new streams of revenue to maximise distribution
•Works with internal Distribution Sales partners to develop creative and commercial solutions
•Manages small and medium sized deals and renewals

Manage Clients:

•Builds and maintains effective relationships with contacts
•Develops as a trusted partner with identified clients
•Exploits the brand and portfolio to search new opportunities and build Distribution relationships
•Is an inspirational technology/media/telecom expert with a business mindset
•Perfectly pre-judges the best content and style for client meetings and negotiations

Manage Deals:

•Takes accountability to implement the best market strategy to maximise revenues
•Has the tenacity and resilience to get out there and keep getting results
•Is commercial in creating deals: combines understanding of Discovery strategy and brand with market understanding
•Leads negotiations and closes the smaller deals within remit and supports the Sales Manager on medium or larger deals
•Considers the pipeline of business, managing client interactions and progressing deals
•Keeps up with a fast moving and maturing market, aware of consolidations
•Works collaboratively with the internal functions that contribute to developing proposals
•Shares market/client information internally to help the development of future deals
•Follows internal processes and systems to fully execute deals: completes pre-deal analysis, notification, communication and feedback, and completes high quality paperwork and reports

Adminstrative support:

•Coordinate between finance, net-ops, legal, channel to ensure all deal fulfilment completed accurately and in a timely manner
•Coordination of data entry to billing system by working closely with Moscow and London Offices to ensure all clients are billed correctly and paid in time and full
•Coordinate and follow up full process with Moscow office and London office from decoder/smart card order to signal activation
•Translating and/or creating channel presentations
•Following up annual revenue and cost budget and produce the reports to be asked from London office on budget
•Supporting to Affiliate Manager for budget pacing, revenue track, deal pipeline or any other weekly, monthly or quarterly reports that will be asked from London Office
•Maintaining EB client database and regularly update client database with latest financials and other details
•Consolidating and circulating the updates on regional reports, market reports and any research reports that will be useful for creating successful regional business and ad hoc projects

◦proven analytical ability and competence with all MS office programs
◦fluent in Russian and English (speaking one of the regional languages is a plus)
◦ability to work in Kazakhstan and no obstacle to travel when required
